The club was formed to promote model sailboat racing on the Jersey Shore.

The club has open sailing on Wednesday nights as well as DF95 racing on Friday afternoons from the dock at Karge St and Lake Ave.

The club hosted its first regatta in July 2024 with the three day Tri-Sail Regatta. Each day a different boat was sailed. CR914’s, Star 45’s and EC12’s.

The club was re-formed in the Fall of 2023 by local residents Stan Switlik and Peter Wright.
